Of conventional form, both inlaid in silver honzogan with cherry blossoms, the inside decorated with cherry blossoms scattered among dense irregular-shaped flakes of mother-of-pearl reserved on a red lacquer ground; signed Kashu ju Shokuro Yoshinori saku. Each 25.5cm (9¾in) long. (2).

Yoshinori Shokuro (fl.ca.1650-1675) was considered a master of inlay as a member of the large Koichi Family School, and is recorded by Haynes, Index, H 11990.0.
