A menuki and gold kagamibuta netsuke cover

The menuki, style of Ichinomiya Nagatsune; the cover, style of Yokoya Somin, both 19th century
The menuki designed as a South Sea Islander presenting a pearl to the Dragon King in gold, shakudo and natural pearl, with the kao of Nagatsune, 3.3cm (1¼in); the gold kagamibuta netsuke cover carved with a blossoming peony in katakiribori, signed Somin with kao, 2.7cm (1 1/8in); with wood storage box.
