A Ko-Gassan wakizashi

15th century
Of hon-zukuri, iori-mune, extended kissaki, torii-zori, forged in ayasugi-hada and with a sugu-ha tempered edge in nioi with sunagashi, the tip komaru, tang suriage with kiri file marks, one hole and kiri end, with a shakudo habaki decorated with flowering vines in kebori and iroe hirazogan, unsigned; in a shirasaya. The blade 48cm (18 7/8in) long. (2).
