Seven sukashi tsuba

18th-19th century
The first an Akasaka School tsuba with blossoming prunus, inscribed Tadatoki saku; a Hizen tsuba with the 'Hundred Monkeys' design; a Shoami School tsuba of chrysanthemum form; an oval sukashi tsuba carved as a radiating sun; a Nanban tsuba carved with confronted dragons; an Akasaka School tsuba carved with leaves and grasses, inscribed Tadatoki saku; a shinchu sukashi tsuba carved with koto bridges. The largest 8cm (3 1/8in). (7).
