Four sukashi tsuba

19th century
The first an oval iron tsuba pierced with a long-tailed phoenix, the eyes highlighted in gold; the second a Soten School tsuba with figures on a bridge; the third a small oval Soten School tsuba with Chinese scholars in rocks, signed Soten; the fourth a circular iron tsuba pierced with a carp leaping among waves. The largest 8cm (3 3/8in). (4).
