Six inlaid iron tsuba

18th-19th century
Comprising a Shoami School tsuba carved with crossed feathers with gold highlights, signed Shoami Yoshishige; an Echizen tsuba carved with two hollyhock leaves with gold highlights, signed Echizen ju Kinai saku; an Echizen tsuba with worm-eaten leaves and blossoms, gold highlights; an Akasaka-style tsuba with paulownia and gingko leaves, gold nunome vines; a Shoami School tsuba with scrolling vines around the rim in gold nunome, silver fukurin; and a Shoami School plate tsuba with a raised rim decorated with floral scroll in gold nunome, signed Masayoshi in gold nunome. The largest 8cm (3 1/8in). (6).
