Yashima Gakutei (fl.circa 1786-1868)

Mid 19th century
Shikishiban surimono, depicting Prince Nintoku and his brother from the series Honcho-ren Honcho Nijushiko (Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Piety for the Honcho Circle), with a poem above by Isonoya Naonari, signed Gakutei with seal Sadaoka. 21cm x 18.3cm (8¼in x 7¼in).
