A zunari kabuto

Mid Edo Period, 17th-18th century
An ecchu style zunari kabuto well formed with deep flaring mabisashi, lacquered black the front lacquered with the head of a shishi in gold, to either side wakidate of real cow or buffalo horns. A five lame kiritsuke kozane jikoro steeply curved over the shoulders, laced in mid blue kebiki odoshi; with a wood stand.
