Mid to late Edo Period, 18th/19th century
A sixty-two-plate suji bachi kabuto with a Hineno jikoro of kiritsuke kozane, on the front an shikami maedate, the mabisashi and fukigaeshi with gilt fukurin, and a gilt torii mon on the fukigaeshi. A good yoshi ryu menpo. The do of typical ni mai nuinobe style. Ko sode of kiritsuke kozane, shino gote, kawara haidate and shino and kusari suneate. Black lacquered overall and laced in dark blue sugake and kebiki odoshi. Together with a good armour box lacquered with a torii mon.
