A ko-tosho tsuba

Muromachi Period, 15th century
Of circular form, pierced within the hammered ground in silhouette with a large axe, the later kozuka hitsu plugged with pewter, unsigned; with wood storage box. 8.5cm (3 3/8in). (2).
