A tall Tokyo School ivory figure of a fisherman

By Bunga/Fumimasa, Meiji Period
Standing cross-legged and leaning against a rocky stump as he examines the freshly caught, wriggling carp held in his right hand, the other holding a bamboo fishing rod, a net and upturned basket suspended from a rock, signed Bunga/Fumimasa within an oval reserve. 37cm (14½in) high.
