A tsuba

Attributed to Hikojuro, 18th century
Of circular form, carved and pierced with pierced moon, constellation and flying swallows in mist, the iron showing some tekkotsu, signed Hikojuro saku, with a wood storage box. 7.3cm (2 7/8in). (3).

With NBTHK Hozon Tosogu certificate attributing the work to Hikojuro, Tadatoki II and the fifth hereditary Master of the Akasaka school.
