A two-fold screen, painted in ink and colour on silk, depicting two bijin and a child servant in a teahouse interior, the geisha knelt on the engawa holding a fan, the older woman and kamuro passing a window set with a shoji panel, signed Showa Jyusannen kugatsu kichijitsu Shunrin sha (Painted by Shunrin on an auspicious day in September of Showa 13 [1938]), with seal. 151cm x 150cm (59½in x 59 1/8in).
