The inverted bell top surmounted by a brass handle over glazed side apertures, moulded plinth with block feet, the six inch brass break arch dial with signed boss to the arch, gilt spandrels and silvered Roman chapter ring, matted centre with date aperture and dummy pendulum, the movement with foliate and basket engraved backplate, pull quarter repeat on three bells and single gut fusee movement with silent verge escapement (spring steel pallets) 46cm (18in) high.
