A last quarter of the 18th century miniature brass lantern timepiece with alarm

The case of typical form with five inch break arched dial signed to the arch on a silvered boss with foliate spandrels, silvered Roman chapter ring with lozenge half-hour markers and inner quarter track, matted centre with alarm disk and single iron hand, the chain driven movement with verge escapement and alarm train mounted to the brass back plate 20cm (8in) high.
