A 17th century iron posted frame turret clock movement

The scroll topped frame with pinned cross pieces, the two transversely planted trains with geared winding to the going train, replaced wooden barrels with four-armed capstan to the strike train, baluster arbors, large lantern pinion to the centre wheel and brass 'scape wheel (possibly converted from verge and foliot), the 'scape wheel has been replaced and the earlier wheel is tied to the clock frame, replaced anchor escapement, the three-wheel strike train with large caged pinwheel and an external fly, the clock is sold with compound pendulum, bronze bell, pulleys, weights, the original wooden drums and a custom made pine stand 114cm (3ft9in) high x 74cm (2ft5in) wide and 64cm (2ft1in) deep (inclusive of base).
