An interesting mid to late 19th century mahogany floorstanding regulator with rare pivoted roller-impulse

The architectural case with canted corners to the hood and glazed trunk on a rectangular base with plinth, the 13.5 inch painted iron regulator dial with seconds and Roman hour subsidiaries enclosed by the outer minute ring with blued steel hands to the robustly constructed weight-driven movement with Harrison's maintaining power, five spoked wheels and deadbeat escapement with screwed pallets, wood rod pendulum with cylindrical brass bob linked to the movement with a highly unusual crutch comprising of a single pivoted brass roller engaging with one side of the pendulum only 201cm (6ft7in) high.
