A last quarter of the 18th century mahogany longcase clock with moonphase

The swan necked pediment with verre eglomisé panels over twin reeded columns, quarter reeded columns to the trunk with shaped door on a panelled base with reeded canted corners and ogee bracket feet, the fourteen inch break arched brass dial with rococo spandrels, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with engraved centre, recessed subsidiary seconds dial, calendar aperture and moonphase to the arch, the weight-driven movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell 240cm (7ft10.5in) high.
