A good late 18th century mahogany bell top bracket clock

The caddy top with decorative handle and brass moulding over well moulded cornice, brass trimmed rectangular side apertures, brass corners on a moulded plinth and cast block feet, the door with concave sectioned brass bezel to the 7.5 inch aperture revealing the Roman and Arabic chapter ring and blued steel hands, signature and strike/silent concealed behind the door, twin wire fusee movement with signed foliate engraved backplate with verge escapement and rack striking on a bell 50cm (19.5in) high.
