A third quarter of the 18th century mahogany bell top bracket clock

Surmounted by a brass handle and four urn finials over fishscale fretted side apertures on a moulded plinth and block feet, the seven inch break arched brass dial with rococo spandrels, Roman and Arabic chapter ring, strike/silent subsidiary to the arch, matted centre with calendar aperture and recessed signed cartouche, the twin fusee movement with temple and foliate engraved backplate, verge escapement, rack striking on a bell and trip repeat 50cm (19.5in) high.
