Surmounted by a gilt brass handle and two urn finials over glazed side apertures, rounded corners on a moulded plinth with brass bracket feet, the eight inch break arched dial with foliate spandrels, signed solid Roman and Arabic chapter ring with strike silent subsidiary to the arch, the twin gut fusee movement with foliate engraved backplate, verge escapement, T-bar suspension to the pendulum and rack striking on a bell 53cm (21in) high.
