The spotted movement with freesprung diamond endstone over a helical palladium balance spring to a cut and compensated balance with Kullberg-type auxiliary compensation and Earnshaw type detent escapement, the signed and numbered 3.75 inch Roman dial with gold hands and subsidiaries for state of wind and running seconds, in a gimballed bowl with locking lever in the left hand corner and with safety key, the three-part case with signed and numbered plaque to the centre section entitled 'Colonia', further set with another plaque detailing another vessels name, 'Dominia', with campaign-type recessed handles to the sides The case 18cms (7.25ins) wide.
