The three tiered case with signed and numbered bone plaque and flush fitting swing handles, the gimballed movement with four inch signed silvered Roman dial with subsidiary seconds and state of wind dials, the single chain fusee movement with spotted plates, Harrison's maintaining power, Earnshaw type footed detent escapement with freesprung bi-metallic balance with auxilliary compensation and diamond endstone, accompanied by a tipsy winding key 18cm (7.25in) wide.
