A rare second quarter of the 19th century rosewood marine barometer with integral Improved Sympiesometer

The stepped cornice over a deep trunk containing the sympiesometer with engraved brass scale, recording dial, mercury thermometer and alcohol tube over a turned brass cistern, the signed bone dials with twin scales and rack and pinion verniers for today and yesterday, with brass gimballed wall mount 94cms (3ft 1in) high.
