The tall concave cornice over a deep trunk containing the sympiesometer with engraved brass scale, recording dial, mercury thermometer and alcohol tube over a shallow carved foliate section over the brass cistern, the signed bone dials with twin scales and rack and pinion verniers for today and yesterday 96cms (3ft 2ins) high.
