An impressive second quarter of the 19th century carved mahogany marine barometer with integral sympiesometer

Flat topped cornice over a deep trunk containing the sympiesometer with engraved brass scale, recording dial, mercury thermometer and alcohol tube over an acanthus carving to a brass cistern, the signed bone scales with twin scales and rack and pinion verniers for today and yesterday 95cms (3ft 2ins) high.
