An early 19th Century Austrian carved giltwood mantel clock

The case surmounted by the well carved figure of a standing warrior, a quiver of arrows on his back (right arm and bow missing) standing on the figure of a serpent, on a rectangular case set with balls, anthemion and lions mask side mounts, the circular enamel Arabic dial with matching hands, the small spring driven rectangular movement with silk suspension striking on a bell 44cm (1ft 5ins) high.
