An impressive mid 19th century French figural annular clock

The bronze numbered 747
The figure of Cupid stands, drawing a tassled cloth over a celestial globe, pointing to the silvered annular chapter ring mounted on a reeded column with laurel wreath to the base on a variegated marble base with scene depicting winged cherubs centred by the flame of undying love carved in relief to a white marble panel on decorative pineapple feet, the bell striking movement with rectangular plates, external countwheel and anchor escapement 71cm (28in) high.
