A good late 18th/early 19th century ormulu 'Pendule d'Officier'

The case with double foliate scroll handle over a concave section cast with tied laurel, the sides with cast oval foliate boss, on turned feet, the signed 4 inch enamel Roman and Arabic dial with well pierced gilt hands, the signed circular movement with flattened lower edge and early conversion to lever platform escapement, striking the hours via a numbered outside countwheel on a bell 20cm high.
