A late 19th century French gilt and silvered brass grande sonnerie carriage clock

The movement with silvered lever platform escapement striking and repeating the hours and the quarters on a pair of coiled steel gongs, the enamel Roman and Arabic dial with blued steel hands set in a plain gilt mask above an Arabic alarm setting dial, in a two-colour case with key-pattern handle over ribbed columns on a plinth 19cms (7.5ins) high.
