The gently tapering case with moulded cornice, locking hood and trunk door over an applied base panel, the signed silvered 5.25 inch dial with outer row of 48 protruding steel pins enclosing the minute band and engraved Arabic numerals, revolving on a rectangular brass plate and set to the centre with a shaped brass bracket terminating in a single hand reading at the uppermost position, with pin-depression lever mounted above and operated via a circular brass turning handle set to the right hand side of the case which via a series of connected steel rods effects depression of the pins, the weight driven movement united by four knopped pillars pinned through the backplate , with anchor escapement to a steel rod pendulum with brass lenticular bob 197cms (6ft 5.5ins) high
