The rectangular case with applied pilasters to the side over shaped tapering feet, with lyre-shaped strut to the rear, with shuttered winding and setting squares, the silvered dial fully engraved with flowers, strapwork and interlaced scrolls, the Roman chapter ring with outer minute band and blued steel fleur de lys hands, set above a pair of subsidiary dials for day of the week and date flanking the retailers signature, the nickel watch-type eight day movement marked Brevet 33236 with cut and compensated bimetallic balance to a lever escapement 19cms (7.5ins) high.
