A good late 19th century silver-mounted tortoiseshell travelling clock

The case set with a total of twelve cast silver mounts to the corners (the rear-most pair engraved with the retailers name and address) and further set with silver hinges, handle and ball feet, on a variegated tortoiseshell body, the circular silver dial with Arabic numerals on a chapter ring with outer minute track and floral scroll centre, the carriage clock-type movement with lever platform escapement striking on a gong 14cm (5.5in) high.
