Attributed to Utagawa Toyokuni I (1769-1825)

Circa 1810
A surimono, depicting the actor Ichikawa Danjuro in the lead role of a Shibaraku play, with a child in the role of Ebisu and a monkey holding a sake cup, four poems above; signed Toyokuni ga. Shikishiban 20cm x 17½cm (7 7/8in x 6 7/8in).
