色紙判摺物 2枚 伝歌川豊国 市川団十郎 19世紀前期(1825年頃)
There are two versions of this well-known series by Toyokuni I: the first with an even grey border as is presented here, the second with the emblem of the Gogawa, the poetry club closely associated with the Ichikawa actor family. The two versions also have different poems. There is still ambiguity as to which is the earlier version.
