A Minai pottery Bowl
Persia, 13th/ 14th Century

with rounded sides on a short foot, painted in polychrome with a figure on horseback in the centre within a moulded band of continuous pursuant animals, a single line of inscription moulded to one side of the bowl, the rim with a continuous band of arabesque, all on a turquoise ground
20.9 cm. diam.
