An 1805 Pattern Naval Officer's Sword
Early 19th Century

With fullered blade (sharpened and patinated) double edged towards the point, regulation gilt-copper stirrup hilt engraved with a fouled anchor on each langet, lions head pommel, wire bound fishskin covered grip, in its black leather scabbard (re-stitched) with gilt-copper mounts (the chape replaced), the locket with frog hook, and two suspension rings
